Holiday Inn Express & Suites St. Paul - Woodbury, an IHG Hotel

Recent business stay- Clean, affordable and very personable. Excellent breakfast. I've paid more for a "better" hotel and have been greatly disappointed. Hands down will gladly stay here again when in the area.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Location is convenient to get to along I-94 which makes it easy to get to but can be a little noisy at times but overall good. Breakfast is great, always fresh and hot and ready for you. Service is as good as it gets Beca, the Manager and the staff are competent and pleasant and easy to work with. Beca has done a wonderful job with an older hotel. I will be back to stay again.

Great staff, great location very clean rooms. Yes the place is a little dated but they are currently in the process of updating the rooms with new furniture etc. I have stayed in a-lot of IHG locations globally but this location is in the top for how well and proactive they are about keeping the place clean and fixing any issues that might arise. The staff has been some of the most friendly and welcoming staff i have dealt with in a hotel in a long while. So overall if you're looking for a clean hotel to stay at with friendly staff in the woodbury area i would 100% recommend this location.

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel- but what has been exceptionally impressive is the staff here, primarily Becca and Melissa. They both were super helpful when I called with a ton of questions and they were very accommodating, all at the last minute no less. They’ve been absolutely fantastic and gone above and beyond for myself and my family, which we are beyond appreciative for! The hotel itself is clean, neat, comfortable. The pool and hot tub have been my kid’s favorite part of our stay, for sure! Personally- my favorite part- (I know I already said this, but I feel it needs to be said again) Becca and Melissa. I’d give them a million stars if I could, but since I can’t, 5 stars it is.

If you're booking through your IHG account, just know the final prices will be a little higher than what you agree to in the IHG app. Last year, the manager removed the extra taxes, but this year I see them again: two Metro Area taxes, one State tax, and one Lodging tax that the location charges that IHG doesn't account for when you ask it to "include all taxes and fees" to show the online price. It's about 10% higher. This is an IHG problem, rather than this location trying to pull something shady. Should we have to ask a manager to take them off? I'd prefer a more transparent price in the IHG booking instead. We've stayed here four years in a row for our family trip. We will probably continue to book it, as the staff is excellent and the location is excellent. You can commute easily into all the services and amenities of Minneapolis while also enjoying the outdoor offerings of the St Croix River and the Wisconsin side. I recommend it for those two things: LOCATION and SERVICE. Factor an extra 10% into your price considerations and don't expect an amazing property by any means (expect basic HIX stuff, pet friendly, nice linens), and you will love it.

Staff is very helpful. The breakfast is very good with alot of options. There is a mini mart in the lobby for snacks if needed. They have a sign in the bathroom saying if you forgot a basic toiletry you can ask the front desk if they have one for you.

This Holiday Inn is very very clean the staff takes pride in there job, they are very friendly when first arriving and continues till you check out. unlike some other hotels where the staff is rude from the moment you walk in the door. Location is great its close to everything. Rooms are very clean there is no second guessing when climbing into bed like some other places i have stayed. so highly recommend this Holiday Inn

Our room, 238, has a very bad odor to it. Other than that everything has been good. We have stayed here a few times and this is the first time we've gotten a room with this kind if odor. They have upped their breakfast choices, it seems they have upgraded their lighting in the hallways, and gotten new coffee makers in the lobby
